Our Story
Faith planted the seed. God made the seed and allows it to bloom.
In the fall of 2020, with the world reeling and hearts in need of healing, Westphalia Roots was born—not from a business plan, but from a divine nudge. It was simple and clear: “Spread JOY through flowers.”
Debby Meyer listened.
With a shovel in hand, her boots in the soil of Central Texas, and hope in her heart, she began planting the first rows of what would become so much more than a flower farm. Each bloom carried more than beauty—it carried purpose. And before long, her small field blossomed into a vibrant flower farm and design studio, offering heartfelt floral arrangements for life’s most meaningful moments.
What began as a quiet calling has bloomed into a full-time ministry of joy, beauty, and grace—serving Lott, Temple, Cameron, and surrounding Texas communities.
Today, Westphalia Roots is not just a business—it’s a testimony in full bloom.

Debby Meyer
Debby didn’t grow up dreaming of becoming a florist. She didn’t inherit a family farm. What she did have was a heart tuned to God’s whispers—and the courage to follow them.
“I would have been a better farmer’s wife if I had started flower farming sooner!” she laughs. But in truth, the timing was perfect. What started as a few rows of flowers quickly became a refuge—a space where joy grew as quickly as the blooms.
Debby pours heart, creativity, and prayer into every arrangement. From the early morning field walks to the careful placement of each flower, this work is sacred to her. It’s more than a job—it’s a form of worship, a way to love and serve others through the beauty of God’s creation.

Audra Palmer
Westphalia Roots is pleased to announce that Audra Palmer will be joining the business to continue our growth! Audra has the heart of a servant and a desire to serve God.
She has an eye for design, a love of flowers and plants, a willingness to learn and to do whatever needs to be done. She will be a tremendous asset to the farm and design team.
